SCG join Chinese Academy of Sciences to develop innovation for the future

On 5th November 2019, After Chinese Academy of Sciences and SCG signed the MOU through CAS Innovation Cooperation Center (Bangkok) to develop innovation for future. The press conference was held at SCG 100 Building in the afternoon. Dr Jiang Biao, Director of CAS Innovation Cooperation Center (Bangkok), Chinese Academy of Sciences, said: CAS-ICCB is one of nine offshore branches globally to play a prominent role in exploring partnerships with leading organizations abroad to showcase the CAS's scientific works. The CAS comprises more than 100 research institutes with a total of 70,000 researchers and team members, a network of 800 senior researchers and three affiliated universities. Five industries/sectors are included: smart cities, artificial intelligence and robotics, high-value chemicals, new energy business and environment and sustainability. The collaborations between SCG and CAS Innovation Cooperation Center (Bangkok) will include: 1) Establishing the “SCG-CAS ICCB Innovation Hub” at INC2 Tower D at the National Science and Technology Development Agency, Thailand Science Park, in Pathum Thani province. 2) Leveraging technologies of CAS or startup network under CAS to benefit Thailand through technology transfer and licensing. 3) Joint Research Project 4) Personnel development through specialized training, advanced education or short course study
